The new village hall was built in 2000 to replace the original Memorial Hall, which was constructed in 1945 as a venue for ex-servicemen to gather after the Second World War. Based in the village of Stanton Harcourt, the Village Hall serves the communities of Sutton and Stanton Harcourt by providing a community space for village organisations to meet as well as a venue for weddings, Christenings and funeral wakes.
How the hall is run
Stanton Harcourt Village Hall is run by a volunteer management committee who manage the hall, take bookings and fundraise towards capital projects and running costs.
