About Us

The new village hall was built in 2000 to replace the original Memorial Hall, which was constructed in 1945 as a venue for ex-servicemen to gather after the Second World War. Based in the village of Stanton Harcourt, the Village Hall serves the communities of Sutton and Stanton Harcourt by providing a community space for village organisations to meet as well as a venue for weddings, Christenings and funeral wakes. It also hosts theatre productions (sometimes in the garden), the monthly Village Market & Cafe, children’s parties, meetings, classes and events.

Stanton Harcourt Village Hall is run by a volunteer management committee who manage the hall, take bookings and fundraise towards capital projects and running costs. 

Stanton Harcourt Village Hall is regularly used by a number of village organisations including:
